Who We Are

The Center for Justice and Victimology Studies (CJVS) Kaduna was established in 2015 in response to the growing challenges of kidnapping, banditry, and violent crimes in Northern Nigeria. We are a specialized academic and research institution dedicated to:

  • Education: Training the next generation of justice professionals, victim advocates, and counselors.
  • Research: Conducting evidence-based research on victimology, crime prevention, and community resilience.
  • Advocacy: Promoting policies that protect victims' rights and enhance access to justice.
  • Community Engagement: Working with communities to develop sustainable safety and resilience strategies.
